History

The Village Market in Elk Rapids was purchased by Richard Young in 1974. Rick has been serving the local community of Elk Rapids for over 40 years, and has dedicated his life to creating a friendly and clean grocery shopping experience. Today, much of Rick's family is involved in working at the 2 stores which serve the communities of Elk Rapids and Rapid City.
